According to reports, Tim Burton is looking to produce a live-action TV series of The Addams Family. The first-ever live-action adaptation is rumored to be told from the perspective of Wednesday Addams and set in present times.

Burton is arranging to executive produce and possibly direct all of the episodes, joined by Smallville developers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar who will serve as head writers and co-executive producers. Among the potential buyers of the show is Netflix, which will probably acquire the project.
